To find book reviews in Book Review Digest, first look at the publication date of your book. Next locate the volume that corresponds to the year your book was published, and search by the author's last name. The entry will contain an excerpt from book reviews, and citation information so that you may find the full article. In the front of Book Review Digest, you will find important information about the how to use this resource, including what the abbreviations stand for.

Once you know the title of the periodical (journal, magazine, newspaper), do a title search for the periodical in Journal Finder on our online website to see if the library subscribes to this particular periodical. Then you can find the particular issue, using the "Full Text Access" link. Years for access in print and/or electronically will be listed.

For a very comprehensive list of book reviews, you can also search by the year and author name is the Book Review Index. This reference book provides bibliographic information about reviews but does not include any excerpts.
